Myer, 6 months

Myer is quite the baby, no longer a newbie and not yet toddling. But he is on the brink of crawling. This Tuesday he had his 6-month check up and is doing well - he's 26 inches and 15 pounds 12 ounces, which is still in the lower percentiles but his growth trajectory is healthy.

He is now:

• Pushing up to hands and knees from his tummy, so that his thighs are off the floor
  
• From hands and knees, he is now rocking back and forth
• Reaching for objects of interest, be they toys or mom's hair, plates of food
• Passing objects from hand to hand
  
• Squirming his way out of the bumbo seat
• Smiling his big mouth gummy grin at other babies and children
  
• Flirting with his teachers
  

And here is the Jellyfish update from the month of March:

We had a great month in March. We welcomed lots of new friends and their families to our Jellyfish pool! We are enjoying getting to know each and every child! With such great weather, we have been venturing out on buggy rides a few times a week and the babies LOVE IT! It's nice for them to get out every once in awhile :)
As for the mobile Jellies, we have been joining the toddler class and their activities in the morning. They love seeing all their old friends and it gives them a chance to experience what they will be doing when they move over to Toddlerland!
